Voting

Today Lisa and I cast our votes for this greatly anticipated election. We got in on the early voting in Texas. I have to tell you, more than ever before, I had a great sense of pride walking in to the polling center. Also, I now feel a great weight lifted off of me. I have cast my vote and do not have to think about it any more. This years election may be the most historic of our lifetime. I urge you all to vote on election day, or earlier if you are lucky enough, no lines :). Make your vote count. (Ok, I'm done with my political agenda).

One of those days...

So do you ever just have "one of those days"? Today was mine. Started off good enough, I knew it was going to be busy, but good enough. Then for some strange reason it just took an odd turn. My attitude changed, my stress level rose, conflict came up, and my day was a struggle. Now that I'm home tonight I can reflect on the day and plan on how I'm going to face tomorrow. It wont be an easy day, but knowing this I can better prepare. I just have to remember, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Pray for me that I can handle my day with the proper attitude and composure that is necessary. Have a good Wednesday!
