Fortune Cookie

Tonight I stopped and picked up dinner at Pei Wei for Lisa and I. The food was very good. Of course I had to open my fortune cookie as soon as I was done. The cookie was tasty but the fortune left me a bit confused. "Failure is the mother of success". WHAT?? I've heard that failing to prepare is preparing to fail. That makes sense, but failure being the monther of success...now I'm stumped. What does this mean to you?

duh failure breeds success! you Keep failing but since you "keep" failing, you must be trying a lot so eventually you will have success! now how was that from somebody who only went as far as a high school/ beauty school diploma! why are you wasting your money?!?!

oh wait or do you think there was really a lady named Failure and she named her son Success?

Nice Jen!

I think it means that you learn soooooo much from your failures that eventually you will get it perfect because you have tried all of the wrong ways.

Unless you're one of those people that just try doing something the same way everytime and continue to fail. Then you are just a moron!

Hmmm.....all I can think of is Thomas Edison and how he failed 1000 times before he finally succeeded to create a lightbulb.

Or something like that.

I think it means that when we fail enough it teaches us to have lower expectations and so it feels like success. Like the Cards celebrating an 8-8 season. years of failure make 8-8 seem successful.

Not really...

PS. My fortune cookie today "an attractive visitor will bring joy to your home"

Is Lisa considered "attractive"seiz
