Four Square

Driving to work today I passed by the Y.M.C.A. and noticed something I had completely forgotten about. I saw some little kids bouncing a ball back and forth. It took me two seconds to realize what they were doing. These kids were playing one of my all time favorite playground games...Four Square! http://www.gameskidsplay.net/games/ball_games/foursquare.htm. I loved this game growing up. So what I'm thinking is a 4-square tournament needs to happen soon. Any takers?

Come on texans how can children grow up without four-square? That's like peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches without the chips crunched in...how can you grow up that way? Please tell me you have at least heard of teather-ball

Funny you should mention it. My aide and I were talking the other day about it and neither of us could remember how to play. Kids are missing out these days!

just so you know... texans DO play 4 square!!! i was born and raised here and played all the time. we even have a 4-square "square/court" thingy in our youth room at church... and its not a weird church, is a cool church... haha! but yeah, i think 4-square was one of those games you had to learn to play to pass 4th grade P.E., like dodge-ball or tee-ball or that relay race when you sit on those little butt-scooter-skateboard things! remember?
